An afternoon in Brugge, Belgium

Yup, we climbed the Belfort Bell Tower - 366 stairs with a beautiful view!

The kids each picked out a 'tower' to sit on here in Brugge Square.  Evan is on the far left, while Emi is on the far right, some random man, Anika and Paige are in the middle.

The kids posing where we caught the river cruise ... and where it ultimately POURED rain on us!  When our boat driver paused under one of the bridges we all cheered because we were all getting soaked from the rain.  But it cleared up rather nicely.

The kids pretending to be so sad while locked away in prison

I made Miles take this picture - I love the red flowers on the right side - at first I thought they were fake, but they aren't, they are real!

Off to the left is where the Benedictine nuns live, it's called Begijnhof

Chocolates!!!
We went to two stores to get chocolates but this was actually our favorite!  So Good!
